About the Zi Ran Wu Yi Kung Fu school

The Zi Ran Wu Yi Kung Fu school is an enrichment in my life. Through it I have found more vitality, peace, contentment and purpose in life. Thanks to it I am now on a path to more life awareness and back to my self. The positive effects manifest themselves in all areas of my life. Although I have not learned martial arts in many different schools in my past, I believe that in this school the true essence of martial arts is learned and practiced. In practice, this is expressed by not sticking to forms, but by the fact that a free and individual style is promoted and developed through the knowledge imparted and learned. This allows one to express oneself naturally and freely in the fight and in the art itself. The knowledge imparted in the school is very extensive and contains the essence of many different martial arts principles and techniques. We also learn how to handle different types of weapons. Furthermore, the Zi Ran Wu Yi Kung Fu school teaches important and witty values and encourages self-reflection. This Kung Fu school has influenced my way of thinking and quality of life very positively. Rather than a sporting activity and entertainment, it is for me a school of life and, especially in today’s hectic and rather superficial world/society, a true jewel and incomparably valuable. Not to be neglected is the fact that I have met many good friends in this school and we all support and encourage each other very respectfully. We see ourselves in the school as a whole to whose success everyone contributes.

My Recommendation

I can basically recommend this school to everyone. The level of martial arts is irrelevant. Newcomers as well as long-time practitioners are welcome. In my opinion, the most important factors for success in martial arts are not to be afraid of confrontation with oneself, to be motivated, to challenge oneself (mentally as well as physically) and to always be aware of one’s own values. However, these are no admission criteria, I also had to learn these things first.

Own Philosopy and Goals

I think that we generally spend too much time worrying about yesterday and tomorrow. We spend a lot of time with computers, television and other media and we keep ourselves busy, distracted from the present moment in which life really takes place. Often we are just busy satisfying all our senses and looking for happiness outside. It seems as if we have forgotten what peace, contentment and happiness really mean.

In truth, everything that is needed achieve this is already within ourselves. We only need to have the courage and some will to start by turning our gaze inwards and listening.
